User Stories
The reference tells you what every flag does. The guides tell you how to do one thing well. This section is different: each page is a complete story — a developer with a real problem, building a real thing with indx from an empty folder to a working result.
Every story follows the same arc:
- The scenario — who’s building, and what’s blocking them today.
- What you’ll build — the concrete outcome, up front.
- The build — copy-pasteable steps, with the output you should expect.
- What you learned — the indx ideas the story leaned on, and where to go deeper.
You don’t need to read them in order. Pick the one that looks like your problem.
